The Queen of Hearts
That is how Tanya called this little cutie from her companion Valentine booklet. The Queen of Hearts won mine the moment I saw her.
I wouldn't be me if I didn't pick my own threads for it... I checked the DMC colors recommended and when on with a similar scheme but I choose silk for the dress. My Queen of Hearts had to be elegant. I added four silver/orange/transparent glass beads in the corners and a cluster of the same beads of my initiative in her hands. She looked a bit empty so I decided to have her look so like if she carried a bunch of flowers. Some red floss and white and red beads in the upper right corner and she's ready for St. Valentine!

She is beautiful ! Love the beads idea.
Beautiful!!! Love all your adaption. The idea of giving her flowers by adding beads is so neat.
Anna, she's so sweet and adding the beads is a lovely idea! You're way ahead of the game for Valentine's Day!
So cute!!! I'll have to show it off on my blog - may I?

That turned out great, Anna. Great job!
Such a sweet lady. I have always admired your creative finishing skills. And this little beauty is no exception.
Anna, that is adorable! Congrats on a sweet finish.
Dear Anna, hardware woes have kept me offline for most of this first month back in Maine, but you have been in my thoughts daily - just before we left Holland, we received your wonderful snow elf gift and she's kept our home feeling cheery and bright through the holidays and beyond (she is still out - I couldn't pack her up with the other holiday decorations!). Thank you so much! And please excuse my horribly late thank-you!
Adorable !!! Ty to masz pomysly !
