So we're more or less ready to leave... Less is more correct ;-) All that's left to pack is stash for the summer and some personal effects... but I still have lots to do in town in the morning before leaving to the airport.
The week has been so very busy, I haven't had time to stop by and say hello... but I read your blogs via Newsgator while sipping morning coffee :)
My face/jaw is almost fine, stitches are removed, but I was a bit unlucky - the mental nerve is "damaged"... no idea why it is called "mental" in English though! In short, I don't feel the left part of my chin and lower lip, several teeth and I have a tingling, burning sensation in there, and it drives me nuts, that I can say :) The surgeon explained that during one of the injections that were supposed to remove the pain, the needle must have gone very close to a major branch of nerves. I checked and rechecked and it seems that what he said is true, it wasn't his fault really, 2 to 5% of people can be this unlucky. Hah, I am always exceptional ;-)
Six to nine months, they say, so I'd better get used to it. The good thing is that it almost can't be seen looking at me that this never is paralyzed. Just sometimes when I smile :)
Got a new haircut and more highlights in the hair...
See you from Norway tomorrow night! Cross your fingers for me tomorrow, it's going to be a tough travel tomorrow, just me, two transporters with cat and dog, two pieces of luggage and a rucksack with my laptop.
The reward? Birthday with my H. I just can't wait! :)

Wishing you a GREAT flight to Norway and of course lots of fun there with your H. Greetings to H as well. Crossing fingers here that your nerve will heal soon.

So in 6 to 9 months, your nerve will have regenerated and this problem will be behind you? I hope I understood it correctly, and that this isn't a permanent condition.
The video of the dog exercising along is too funny! My dogs never offer to exercise with me. Yesterday, Spin (the cat) actually tried to lay down on my back when I was doing some abdominal exercises! The sneezing fit that ensued (I'm allergic to him) kind of ruined the effect of the exercise!
I hope your flight will be on time and uneventful. You sure look GREAT for your trip home!!!!
