Green week-end
I'm thinking green, greenies and spring this week-end.
Nature is so beautiful these days.....
I did some kitchen window gardening... transplanted the 3 small minth pots I bought, and planted minth and coriander..
Made a yummy breakfast... cottage cheese with radish and chives...
...bought and cut *a lot* of parsley along with minth to prepare a big bowl of yummy tabouleh... never enough!!
Boiled my first asparagus of the season...
What's on YOUR plates this week-end? I am seriously curious :)
Have you seen the new Midsummer Night Designs designs? I ADORE them!!!! Especially the first two.
I'll end for today with a finish from February, which stayed hanging in H.'s house in Norway.

We love homemade tabouleh! :D What's the sauce on your asparagus? Do you like the white or green better? I like the green best, but they're both good. :D
Some Roma tomatoes, mozarella cheese and basil topped with oil and vinegar and a touch of garlic. Too bad the basil and tomatoes are not from my garden....yet. By July it will all be fresh. Now if I can just keep a water-buffalo on my land then I can make the cheese too!
Yummy healthy food. I've never had white asparagus before. I like to roast big fat green ones, tossed with a little olive oil, bit sprinkling of salt. Yum. Roasting brings out the sweetness.
I'm with you. I really like the first 2 new designs. More for the stash!

Our asparagus is just starting to come up. Another few days and I'll have fresh asparagus too! Other than that nothing exciting being eaten at our house.
We've already had asparagus twice this year. We always eat it with ham and add a sauce hollandaise and scrambled pancakes. This is the version of where I'm from. My favourite. This weekend we'll have asparagus again ...
