Finally finishes I love! I couldn't resist to this little mouse...

Basically, I stitched it for a friend's daughter. Now, please help me - what should I do? I love it so much that I have a hard time parting with it. And no, I won't stitch it again, I know I won't, I never do, there's plenty of other designs I always want to stitch :(. Should I keep it and have it finished or should I send it, what would you do?? And if I keep it, how do I finish it (=I'll have a finisher do it for me)? I'm perplexed though I have some ideas, but the first question is, do I send it, really...

How big is this piece, Anna? And does anyone know you planned to give it away? If not, I say keep it and have it finished into an acrylic coaster or finish it into a cute little frame for a table or small space on the wall.

Lynne, I think it would fit into a square coaster, but my idea, like yours, was to frame it. The person doesn't expect it, which is the good think, and I might end up buying a little smthg instead for lack of time. I'll bring it to the framer after the New Year and choose a colourful frame: grey, pink or green. I just love that cutie, she's a keeper ! :) Thanks!

Oh dear. I was going to suggest you go ahead and send it to the person you stitched it for. Think of the love you stitched it with and the good thoughts that went into it, and how much the person you stitched it for originally will enjoy it as well. If you really wish to keep one for yourself, it's so small you can easily restitch it. Is it small enough to fit into one of the premade plastic mugs, so that it can sit out on the table or desk year round? I use one I stitched several years ago on my desk to keep pens and pencils in.

Linda, thanks for your comment. I still have a little time to decide... and yes, I am still undecided because of the reasons you give. Also, it is certainly easy to stitch again. I don't have one of those mugs at home right now, but will turn it into a little hanging-smthg if I send it. Thanks!
